The Book
Our anthology Saint Paul Almanac transports the power of story to the world.
Our anthology Saint Paul Almanac transports the power of story to the world.
The extraordinary storytelling in Saint Paul Almanac is a testament to the necessary work that artists and community editors do to convey the vitality of thoughts, ideas, hopes, and dreams to our audiences. This creative connection helps us build and sustain community. The Almanac celebrates and documents the history of Saint Paul and its creative forces, its residents’ memories and current experiences, and the ever-changing landscape.
Before we began publishing Saint Paul Almanac in 2007, no publication existed that offered the opportunity for community residents and emerging writers to amplify their diverse voices and to reveal their lived experiences, which are often overlooked and excluded in mainstream publishing.
The Saint Paul Almanac brings the Saint Paul community together to share their stories, artwork, poetry and other artistic endeavors through our various projects and publications. Your passion and creativity are vital to the success of everything we do, so we welcome your submissions and participation in these ongoing or upcoming projects.
We are currently closed to submissions for Vol. 13. We plan to publish the edition when possible.
You can buy the latest edition of the Saint Paul Almanac via our online store or at any of these local retailers.
